After a great Thanksgiving meal, conversation with family, card games and more, we settled into watch the Lady Gaga and the Muppets Thanksgiving show. It was old school Muppets clashing with our modern society, which Lady Gaga is such a part of and nothing about it worked. It was tremendously disappointing to see how far TV is trying to stretch the envelope. Our children span from the age of 5 – 13 and we had to turn it off after 5 minutes. Nothing about it was family oriented, rather it was a racy and overly sexual show for an 8:30 time slot. Music and the Muppets are great but this one was a bit much. We started the evening by watching the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving special and then it took quite an unfortunate turn with Lady Gaga’s costume and dancing creativity. I guess it was a sign for us to go back to our card game!
